how/where to get free transit visa for my lay over in guangzhou

Hello im indonesian, im heading to USA through china, on my way back to indonesia i have lay over the airlines give me hotel, so i have to get out of the airport but its only 24hours, where should i make this free transit visa?Thank you

Oki, don’t worry! You can make use of the 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou if you travel like that. When you arrive at Guangzhou airport, you can just apply for a temporary stay permit which is free of charge at the immigration office, and then you can go out of the airport and stay at the hotel.
