72 hr free transit visa at shanghai hongqiao int. airport?

China Eastern Airlines has changed my flights - I now will fly into SHA and my connect flight departs from PVG. Can I get a 72hr transit visa at SHA? My connecting flight is the next morning. Thanks

In this case, you are still eligible for the 72h visa-free transit. And upon landing, you need to present your passport and onward boarding pass or ticket at the immigration, then you will get a transit permit, which will enable you to legally leave the airport and visit the city.
