Overland Transit from Shanghai to Guangzhou visa

Hi - if I fly in to Shanghai and travel overland by train to Guangzhou and fly out to a third country all within 24 hours can I qualify for a 24 hour visa?

Mat, if you can do this all within 24 hours, you will qualify for the 24-hour direct transit policy.
