About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Chicago to Tokyo (NRT) to Beijing to Tokyo (HND) to Chicago

Hi I am flying from Chicago to Tokyo to Beijing back to Tokyo (different airport) and then returning to Chicago, would I be eligible for the 72 hour visa free travel?

No it doesn´t work as you can´t fly back to the country where you came from (Japan).
