Boarding a cruise ship in Shanghai

Can we use the 144-hour visa when we fly into Shanhai, stay in a hotel for 24 hours, then board a cruise ship? The cruise disembarks in Hong Kong 16 days later. Charles Magdalena

Hi Charles, if the ship leaves from Shanghai to a third country or region after you board, you can enjoy the free transit policy.
