About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

we are british passport holder going on a cruise from singapore to Shanghai.

We will disembark in Shanghai and have one night in Shanghai hotel before flying back to UK. Do we need a Chinese visa? Thank you

If so, you don’t need a visa because you qualify for the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai.
