About:Shanghai Tourist Bus

What station do i use to catch the bus from Shanghai to Xi Tang?

And do I buy the ticket at the station before I get on the bus? Or just pay on the bus? And how will I know to get off at Xi Tang? Is it the end of the line?

You can take a bus to Xitang from General Bus Station near the Main Railway Station. The buses are available from 7:20 to 18:30. The fare is CNY 37. The trip takes about 1.5 hours. You can buy the ticket at the station before you get onto the bus. Xitang is the end of the bus route. Don't worry! :)

Thank you Selina for the great information. I looked up the train station and there are a few: Hongqiao, Shanghai, North, South and West. Which one is considered the main railway station?

Shanghai Railway Station is the Main Railway Station. :)
