About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Can obtain a temporary residence permit on a business visa?

I am currently in China on a business (M) type with a maximum stay of 30 days each entry (multiple). Will I be able apply for a temporary residence permit in my situation? I would like to marry my Chinese fiancé this year. Thank you.

Gary, you can't get the temporary residence permit with the M type. But after you get married to your girlfriend, you can possibly get it if you can get a Q1 type entry permit.
