1) is the scenery of the grasslands still beautiful as in Summer or the grass is yellow?2) is the temperature very cold? What's the average during teh day?3) What is a nice park to visit close to Hohhot or Xanadu or Beijing (we come from Beijing)?Thank you very much. Regards

1). The grass is yellow in October. 2). The average temperature will range from 40F to 65F. It is a little bit cold. You should pack jackets, light sweaters, shirts, pants, and sneakers.3). You may go to Beihai Park in Beijing. :)
