About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

We are having a stopover in Guangzhou on our way back to Adelaide , from London.

We will be there for just over 72 hours , some of it in airport, the rest sight seeing for 3 days, so do we need a visa?

Nola, usually, the 72 hours start from 00:00 the day following the entry date, so you can actually stay for more than 72 hours. In this case, you can enjoy the 72 hour free transit in Guangzhou and no need to apply for an entry permit.
