About:China Tourist Visa

Hi I am planning on arriving into Beijing by air and leaving China by rail into Vietnam.

Is this possible on tourist L visa? Do I only need to provide proof (booking confirmation) for each of the train and air tickets?

Yes, it's posible on tourist L type entry permit. You need to provide train and air tickets booking information. If you will sleep in a hotel when you are in China, the hotel booking is also required.
