About:Hong Kong Visa Application

Can a foreigner with valid Chinese visa still needs to get HK entry permit before entering HK?

If you hold Qatar passport, you are allowed to enter HK freely for a stay of no more than 30 days. So if you go there for less than 30 days, you don’t need to apply for an entry permit.

What if holding Lebanese passport but with work residence permit in Qatar and has a valid Chinese entry permit, can he enter HK?

If so, you still need to apply for an entry permit for HK. Entry permit for mainland PRC cannot be used to enter HK.
