Travelling to Shenzhen

i am travelling from Hong Kong to Shenzhen by ferry boat is Shenzhen a safe city to visit?

Yes, it is comparatively safe to visit the city as long as you do not go to remote area alone, take licensed taxi or bus, stay at a safe hotel and find the police if you have any problem.
