Applying for Chinese visa - Spanish citizen living in the Netherlands

Hi,

I wanted to ask if the temporary ban on non-Dutch passport holders applying for visas in the Netherlands had been lifted. I was at the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre in the Hague 2 weeks ago (to process the business entry permit I have already successfully done so a few times this year with the same office in The Hague) and they had told me there was a ban until 19 September and I had to call back then to see if it was lifted. No one is answering the phones there today.

Can you confirm this temporary rule and let me know if this has stopped? I need to travel to Shanghai on 10 October.

Any help you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

Regards, MY

Hi there! If they said the ban will be canceled after 19th September, I think you can go there to apply for the business M type after that. Usually, the hot line is too busy to get through. You can just go there for a try.
