May I know if there is a Shenzhen Tong Pass for the disabled?

How do disabled people gain daily access to the train? Must they ask a member of staff to allow them access for each trip or is a pass given to disabled passengers? Does this also apply to foreign and/or Hong Kong disabled passengers? Many thanks for you assistance with my enquiry. :-)

Well, there are special passes for the disabled. But they are for the locals, not foreigners. You can just buy a normal card at Customer Service Centers, metro stations, 7-11 Convenience Stores, etc. You need to pay CNY 20 as the deposit, and add some value to it. In addition, there are convenient facilities for the disabled, like escalators and platforms. Don't worry!

Thank you for your helpful reply. :-) May a HK Disabled Card holder purchase a SZ Tong Pass for the disabled? Or are they also viewed as 'foreigners'?

I am sorry that the disabled card is only applicable to SZ residents. You can buy a normal card instead. ;)
