Applying for China Visa - UK passport living in the Netherlands

The process seems quite confusing to me. I dont have a permanent residence card or stamp in my British passport since it is not a requirement of Dutch law to need/have that. Since it is not a legal requirement to have that I assume that it is not a problem. I did email this question 3 weeks ago - in another place - and have not had a reply... yet.

Thanks

Annie, if you can provide proof to prove your legal stay in Netherlands, you can apply for visa from there. The permanent residence care is not necessary.

Thank you - what does legal proof mean in this case? Drivers licence, employment contract, mortgage, drivers licence? Thanks again!

If you have driver license, employment contract or mortgage, it can be used as the proof.
But if you don’t have any of them, you can provide the entry record on your passport as the proof.
