About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

48 hour layover in Shianghai

Good morning,
I am traveling from Thailand to Shinghai for 48 hours for a weekend wedding. Can I use the 72 transit visa for this purpose ?

Craig, after visiting Shanghai for 48 hours, if you will fly to a third country or region rather than Thailand, you can use the 72 hour free transit in Shanghai and attend the wedding.
