If you want to apply for a crew C visa, you should first prepare the required documents containing your passport and copy of its data page, the completed application form, a passport-style photo, and a guarantee letter from the cruise company or an invitation letter from the relevant unit in PRC. Afterwards, submit the application to the embassy of PRC to apply for the C type.
But if you enter PRC just for tourism purpose, you don’t need to apply for any visa because Mauritius passport holders can enjoy free entry to PRC for a stay of not exceeding 30 days.
