For first time visit to Hainan, I suggest you join a local tour and then spend the rest of your holidays on your own. We are travelling to Hainan from Singapore during the first two weeks of May. Our tour include Xinglong, famous for its coffee and Sanya, the seaside resort in the south. We will be spending the rest of the days in Haikou and Wenchang. Many of the attractions are too commercialised, so check the prices first before you agree.
