About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

From Hong Kong to Shanghai and back to Hong Kong

Hi,

Am I eligible to use the 72-hour free transit visa if I go from Hong Kong to Shanghai and then back again to Hong Kong, i.e. from country A to B then back to A (and not to C as in the illustration)?

Jules, you are not eligible to use the 72 hour free transit if you travel like that.
