About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

we are planning to fly from spain to shanghai, stay 48 hours and fly out to Melbourne, then fly from

Sydney to Beijing and from there back to Spain with a layover of 48 hours in Beijing.
Can we use the 72 hours visa in both cases?
