About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

one month visa extension in China

I am going to China for a 4 months internship. The embassy has granted me a 30 day entry permit. Is it possible to extend it in China for the remaining 3 months?
The company I am doing the internship with says they will do it.

Irina, it's possible to extend it, but as you were only give a stay duration of 30 days, I'm not sure whether you can get the extension for three months. Maybe the company will try to convert your visa from one type to another.
