About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

For American passport holders

I would like to enter China from Hong Kong a few times in Oct. 2016. The first visit will be a one-day trip as a tourist with no invite, nor any itinerary, the second one joining a tour for 6 days. I only have an itinerary for the 6-day tour. Is it ok? Do we get 10-yr visa good for multiple entries?

Michelle, for the first trip, as it's only last for one day, you have the chance to get the entry permit even though you don't have an itinerary. You can try to apply for the 10-year multiple-entry permit and it's possible to get it.
