Hanging lanterns for moon festival.. I do not want to group them in the incorrect manner to offend Chinese visitors.

Where are you going to hang them? If the big ones in the front door, two are OK. If the small ones to decorate interior rooms, there is no such number limitation; just make it beautiful.
