About:China Transit Visa

I am traveling from New Zealand to Madrid via Beijing.

Hi there,
We have an 18 hour transit, we would like to see the city during this transit.
I am an Indian citizen and a New Zealand resident. Do I need to apply for a visa? Also, if we decide to stay at the airport will I still need an entry permit?
Please do get back to me.
Thanks you.

Dear, you don’t need an entry permit because you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing. If you want to leave the airport, you just need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport and it is free of charge. Nice trip.
