About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Standby Travel Transit Visa

I would like to visit Shanghai within the 72hr free transit timeline from and to Chicago; however I am an airline employee and plan to travel space available. Is the requirement to have a CONFIRMED onward seat still applicable?

Thank you.

Sorry but you don´t qualify for the 144h twov for 2 reasons.

First you can´t fly back to the country you came from.
Second you have to show a confirmed ticket, a standby ticket is not valid.
