About:Jinshanling Great Wall

Any information on how to get to west gate of Jinshanling Great Wall?

I've been there before, hiked the middle gate to the east one, and caught the bus back to Beijing. Now my parents are coming and we are up for a longer hike, but I can't seem to find any information about making it to the west gate to start the hike. To be clear, we want to hike all the way starting from the West Gate to the East.

I heard that you can take a coach near the Exit C of Wangjing West Subway Station and get off at Jinshanling Service Area. There you can take a free shuttle bus to the Wall and the final station is the West Gate.

Ah so I can take the shuttle then... some more info on that?

We want to start at Longyukou Pass.Thanks for your tip

There are four buses depart from the service area at 10:00, 11:00, 13:00, and 15:30 respectively. The return bus leave from the Wall at 10:30, 11:30, 13:30, 15:00.
