Living in China and a Possessor of a Chinese Working Visa and HK Permanent ID

I am interested in visiting Tibet while I am living in China. I am an Australian National, but have Permanent Residency and Right of Abode in HK (with an Hong Kong Permanent ID Card) and I am living in China (Guangdong Province). I also have a Chinese Work Z type with multiple re-entries. My query is this: What papers will I need to visit Tibet? Will I need the tourist papers or some other internal documents?

John, you need to find a travel agency to get a Tibet Travel Permit for you, and then you need to book a tour from the travel agency to go to Tibet for a visit. Because you have work Z type, you don’t need to provide other documents.
