What do i need for 16 hour stop?

Hi,
In april 2017 I will make a stop in Guangzhou, CAN for 16,30 hours. I am from holland and I will have an Australian entry permit by then. I will leave in Perth en after 16,30 hours I will leave again to Amsterdam.
I would like to leave the airport. What type do I need and how much will this cost me? Can I get myself a visa at the airport?

Chris, if so, you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou. No entry permit will be needed then.
You just need to apply for a temporary stay permit to leave the airport and the permit is free of charge.
