Sumita, if you want to apply for a tourist L type, the required documents contain your passport and its copy, the application form, a passport-sized color photo, and proof of your transportation and accommodation arrangement. Afterwards, submit the application to the embassy of PRC to apply for it. It will cost USD 140. You can download the application form V.2013 at this website or from the official website of the embassy of PRC in USA.
