About:Beijing Transportation Smart Card

Is there a card that you can pay taxis with in Beijing?

as there are a lot of scams going on with them changing your money for fake

Actually, local Public Transportation Smart Card can be used to pay the taxi fee. However, many drivers refuse to use it. You may have a try! Or prepare enough loose change if you are afraid of getting fake money. Most drivers are honest. Don't worry it a lot!

I have just come back from the city and a taxi driver, changed 900 yuan to fake money, this is why I am frightened to use taxis, without some other form of payment.
