Hi. I an a Canadian Citizen and already have a Chinese Business Visa (Class F) for 10 years.

My wife is an Indian citizen with a Visitor visa to Canada for 10 years. Right now she is with me in Canada and she does not intend to go back to India until December, 2016. In a couple of weeks, I need to go to Beijing for Business and I would like her to come with me as a tourist. Can she apply for the Chinese tourist L type in Toronto?

Yes, as long as she has a residence permit in Canada, she can apply from there.

This person is my wife and she is legally in Canada for six months. She would like to accompany me, a Canadian citizen who already holds a 10 year Business entry permit for China, during my next trip to Beijing from Toronto. The whole purpose of my question is so I can save her a flight ticket back to India so she can apply for a visa from there and then go to China. That is the key.
