hi, everyone. we are a couple planning to hike jiankou to mutianyu, just the two of us.

Question

We're fit,but don't have equipment or much hiking experience. Therefore, my question is: What is the easiest -not very dangerous- doable in 1 day route? From Zhangbeilou to Mutianyu? Or something else? Also,one of the websites says they closed the tower leading to mutianyu but that you can stil climb over it. Anyone knows anyting about it? Will be greatful for the info)

It is recommended you take the third route mentioned on this page. The segment from Jiankou Spot to the Ox Horn Edge Wall is not very dangerous. Follow the route to the east, you will reach Mutianyu.I heard that climbing from JK to Mutianyu is still allowed by now.
