About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

14 hour one day cruise ship visit to Shanghai

I will be arriving in Shanghi by cruise ship on 23rd October 2016 arriving 6am departing 10 pm same day. Will be able to apply for my 144 hour visa at the port or on the ship. I have U.K. passport

W, because you arrive and leave by the same cruise ship, I’m afraid you need to apply for a tourist L type for that. You can confirm that with the cruise company.
