I am arriving in Guangzhou at around 11:00 in the morning from Hong Kong.

I intend to stay the day in Guangzhou and stay at a hotel on Shamian island. In the morning of day 2, I will take a bus to Kaiping and tour the diaolou the day. I will sleep in Kaiping. On day 3 I will return to GZ in the morning, spend the day there and in the evening return to Shenzhen.
In GZ I want to see:

Canton tower
Chen clan academy
Shamian island
Yuexiu park (5 ram statue and Sun yat sen memorial)
opera house
Guangzhou museum
Panxi restaurant
Also I would like to visit the Tomb of the Nanyue King.

Are 1 and a half or 2 days enough to see this? If yes, what other attractions would also be of interest? Could you give me a small itinerary of which attractions to see on which days? Which transport should I use to get around?
