Hi. I'm planning to invite my boyfriend to China. I have Z type here.

What are the requirements he needs to prepare? Would it be easier to get a visa for him if I invite him or my company will invite him? Thanks for answers.

He can apply for a tourist L type and he needs to prepare these documents including his passport and copy of its data page, the application form, a recently-taken passport-sized color photo, an invitation letter from you, and his financial support proof.
An invitation letter from you is okay and if he provides all the required documents, it won’t be that difficult for him to apply for the L type.
