temporary travel document

Question

Hi,I am in the process of renewing my work visa and am promised a temporary travel document for traveling within China. Since I will be traveling within China by train and plane I need to book some tickets. Do I just book with regular passport number? Do you know the official name of the travel document for me to explain to anyone who I need to show the document? I haven't received it yet.Cheers,Jaap

Jaap, you can just book tickets with regular passport number. I don’t know the detailed information about the travel document. But when you travel, you can provide both the temporary travel document and a copy of your passport.
