About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do Canadians and/or British citizens need a China VISA for this 11 hours when visiting Shaghai?

We will be visiting Shanghai as a port-of-call on our Diamond Princess cruise departing from Tokyo and ending in Singapore. The ship will only STOP in Shanghai from 7:00 am and leaving at 6:00 pm ( less than 12 hours).

Appreciate your help and answer on this.
Thank You Very much

Guy, because you will travel by cruise ship all the way, you may be required to apply for a tourist L type or transit G type beforehand. You’d better confirm that with the cruise company.
