About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Converting Student residence permit to work permit

Hi, I am currently living in beijing and working at Peking University as visting fellow. I graduated from Peking Uninversity. I have got a job in shenzhen at a university. How can I convert my visa from student to work in this case.

Asif, the first thing is to provide those materials containing your passport, the application form, a half-length color photo taken recently, valid registration form of temporary residence, an invitation letter of a duly authorized unit and your work permit. And then go to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to submit the application to convert the X type to Z type.
