About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

If we fly into Shanghai with Qantas from Australia and we are leaving by cruise ship two days later

can we still use the 72 hr free visa terms as long as we go to the desk at the airport when we arrive

There´s no 72h twov anymore in Shanghai, just the 144h twov.
And this allows you to leave Shanghai by ship.
So you are fine with the 144 twov and there´s no need to apply for an entry permit.
