About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hours in Shanghai with day excursion to Suzhou?

We are flying Los Angeles, California to Shanghai. We will apply for 72 hour visit in Shanghai. Then fly to Hong Kong for 5 days and fly back to Shanghai to catch our flight to Los Angeles. While we are in Shanghai can we do a day excursion to Suzhou and not risk a problem? Thanks

It´s no problem.
The 144h twov allows you to travel between Shanghai and Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces.

Yes but we are applying for the 72 hour stay NOT 144 stay. Please reply.

There´s no 72h twov anymore in Shanghai.
You just can apply for the 144h twov.
And this allows you to travel between the 3 places.

Thanks... Now After we spend 2 days in Shamghai on the 144 TWOV we fly to Hong Kong. On the return flight Hong Kong to LOs Angeles we connect in Shanghai again for a few hours without leaving the airport. Is this ok to do???
