About:Chinese Embassy in New Zealand

New Zealand passport holder already in Asia wanting to enter as a tourist to China.

Hi,

I am a New Zealand passport holder and have been traveling in Asia for the last 4+ months and would now like to go to China.
I would like to know if it is possible to apply for a tourist visa to enter China without being in New Zealand at the time of application. If it is possible how much would it cost and how long would the application process take?

Thanks
Grant

Grant, it’s possible for you to apply for Chinese tourist L type from a third country, so you don’t have to apply for it in New Zealand. It usually takes 4 working days
As for the cost, it mainly depends on from which country you will apply for. If you apply for it in Malaysia, it will cost 188.3 ringgits.
