About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

In Hangzhou, I was told to leave China after 3 weeks from submitting my resident permit renewal

Hi There,

I got an admission from a university in Hangzhou and moved there from Ningbo, when I entered China, I lived for 6 months in Ningbo and studied Chinese languages there, then I moved to Hangzhou. I submitted all documents for resident permit renewal and i received the resident permit application receipt that says my passport will be ready in 12 August. I went on that date and was told it is not ready and I should come back again when they contact me. two days later, I received a call from my university saying that the immigration called them and told them that I have to leave china and gave no reasons. I am really confused and worried, I will go there next Monday and check but I have no idea why they would reject my application. I paid my tution for two years in advance and I don't know if the university will give me my money back. I don't really know what to do and what they will ask me to do.

Any help.

Yousef, don’t worry! After you go there, you will find out the reason. If your application is rejected, you can try to apply for a new student X1 type after you return to your home country, and then you can re-enter PRC and re-apply for the residence permit. Take it easy.
