About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

I am travelling via Air China from London to PEK, then PEK to Japan with a layover of 1hr 10 mins.

I am from China, so I have ID card there, so will this be faster for me when transit. I heard the Border Inspection takes a long time so I am worried a bit. I want to know the procedures so I can plan ahead of time.

My flights lands on T3, and the flight from PEK to Japan is in T3 as well, do I have enough time to make it to my flight?

Oh, it's international to international transfer. Nowadays, the Border Inspection is not necessary. Just stamped on the boarding pass. Thus it will save some time. Generally speaking, you need to prepare at least one hour to make this transfer in T3. Thus your time is tight. Just complete those procedures as soons as possible.
BTW, the correct procedures are: Flight Arrival - Transfer Procedures - Stamped on the Boarding Pass - Security Check - Custom Inspection - Waiting & Boarding
