About:Hong Kong Visa Application

I am German and applied for a study visa

Unfortunately, I will leave Germany before my application will be processed. Is it possible to enter HK as a tourist and later, collect my entry permit and re-enter HK (with a trip to Macau e.g.) to register with my student entry permit? Or is there any other possibility?

Viktoria, because you can enjoy free entry to enter HK, I think you can do that.
