About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Very urgent, please Help!! Am I eligible for the new 144 hours visa-free policy to Guangzhou?

I'm a Canadian citizen flying from :
Korea ---> transiting to Guangzhou (stopover of 4 days) ----> Canada

Charles, the 144 hour free transit is not available in Guangzhou, and it is only applicable to those who transit in Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang.
I’m afraid you need to apply for a tourist L type or transit G type for your 4-day transit in Guangzhou.

Now I'm a little worry that I will get refused by the airline to board on the plane once at the airport =( I'll call them tomorrow.
