how to extend days of staying

HI,I do have L visa and I only granted a 14 days of staying in china, but the situation calls that I need to stay there longer than 14 days. I want to know what should I do and what do I need If I want to extend for additional 14 days?Thanks

Melody, if so, you can try to apply for an extension 7 days earlier before it expires at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB. If you hold the tourist L type, you need to provide your passport, the application form, a passport-style photo, valid registration form of temporary residence, hotel reservation and your return ticket.
