About:Jiayuguan Travel

Is it easier to visit the Qilian mountains from Zhangye, or from Jiayuguan?

and what is the easiest way to travel there. We are interested in hiking and seeing the grasslands, not just the July 1st glacier.

Well, it is closer and easierto go from Zhangye. I suggest you hire a car to travel that area for a whole day to cover the must-sees. Hope your driver will know much of that.
