Qilian Grassland and Menyuan Rapeseed Flower Scenic Spot already visible by last week of May?

Hello.. we are visiting Xining next month.. last week of May.. and I really wanted to see the sea of rapeseed flower! has anyone been there on May and saw the grassland filled with rapeseed flower? or it's too early.. :( Please advise... thanks in advance!
