We also would like to sleep in a yurt in Qilian Mountain grassland. Is it possible? How to book it?

From Zhangye to Qilian Mountain Grassland, you are suggested to take a bullet train to Menyuan Station firstly which will cost 2 hours on the way. Upon arrival at Menyuan, you can take a shuttle bus and get down at Qilian Villiage. Then you can hail a taxi to get to Qilian Mountain Grassland. However, I think it is more convenient for you to charter a car which runs between Qilian Village and Qilian Mountain Grassland in advance. As for the route from Qilian Mountain Grassland to Xining, you are suggested to take a bullet train from Menyuan to Xining which will spend around 45 minutes on the way. Yes, I have checked on the internet that there are Gers for accommodation in Qilian Mountain Grassland, Xining, maybe you can book it with a travel agency or on your arrival at Xining.
